Dr. Chad Rigetti is a quantum computing entrepreneur and physicist and the founder and CEO of Rigetti. Since founding the company in 2013, Dr. Rigetti has led the company to become a preeminent global leader in quantum computing. He has raised more than $200M in venture funding, built a world class leadership team and board, and institutionalized the company’s pioneering innovation capabilities. Prior to Rigetti, Dr. Rigetti worked in the quantum computing group at IBM Research. Dr. Rigetti’s research focused on the development of novel silicon-based chip architectures, control schemes, and system-level designs for practical quantum computing systems. He is an inventor of 38 issued U.S. patents and author of more than 20 peer reviewed scientific publications with more than 4,000 citations. He holds a Ph.D. in Applied Physics from Yale University and a B.S. in Physics with Honors from the University of Regina.
Lou DeSorbo is Chief Security Officer at Rigetti. He has over 25 years of experience in military intelligence, cyber operations and warfare, cybersecurity, physical security as well as computational business risk management. He previously served as CSRO for a Fortune 25 global healthcare company, where he was responsible for leading the Security Vision, Plan and teams of experts who secured and defended the global enterprise. Lou holds an MBA from Colorado State University and a BS in Electronics Management from Southern Illinois University.
Greg Peters is Chief Revenue Officer at Rigetti. He has more than 30 years of experience in high technology roles at Hewlett-Packard, Agilent Technologies and Keysight Technologies across all business functions and with experience in computing, communications, aerospace, and semiconductor industries. His most recent roles at Keysight included executive roles in corporate development and leadership of Keysight’s Aerospace Defense and Government Solutions business. Greg holds a BSEE from Iowa State University and an MBA from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs.
SVP, Human Resources
Jackie Kaweck is Senior Vice President, Human Resources at Rigetti. Jackie brings more than 20 years of experience in HR, leadership development working in technology, digital marketing, financial services, and consulting. Jackie has a BS in Finance from the University of Florida and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
SVP, Systems & Services
David Rivas is Senior Vice President, Systems and Services at Rigetti, where he oversees the engineering and operations of Rigetti’s Quantum Cloud Services platform. David has previously held executive roles at companies including Sun Microsystems, Nokia, Bolt Threads, and Stage 3 Systems. He holds a B.S. and M.S. in electrical and computer engineering, both from the University of California, San Diego.
